Synopsis: 
The always charming, perfect and spoiled Sofia, the queen bee of her group of friends, faces the unimaginable, her social decay. It’s 1982 and a big economic crisis is hitting Mexico. Sofia will have to maintain appearances but her fall will not only be inevitable, it will also acknowledge what is lost when the money's gone.

Alejandra Márquez Abella

Alejandra Márquez Abella was born in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, and raised in Mexico City. She studied film at the Centro d’Estudis Cinematogràfics of Catalunya in Barcelona. Her films include the shorts 5 Memories (2009), Perra (2012), and the documentary feature Mal de tierra (2011). Her feature debut Semana Santa (2015) screened at IFF Panama’s fifth edition in 2016. The Good Girls (2018) is her latest feature.
