Iberoamerican Showcase at IFF Panama 2018

Our selection of Ibero-American films has a strong voice in the international scene. Its maturity and high quality, as well as its themes and techniques, continue to reverberate around the world.
 
In our 7th edition, IFF Panama showcases a representation of the region's cinema. Some of the titles that will be a part of the programing include Anahí Berneri's Alanis; April's Daughter, by Michel Franco; Laura Mora Ortega's film Killing Jesus; Perfectos Desconocidos by acclaimed Spanish director Alex de la Iglesia; and A Fantastic Woman by Sebastian Lelio, which was nominated for the Oscar in the Best Foreign Film category.

Sobre la Fundación IFF Panamá

La Fundación Festival Internacional de Cine de Panamá (Fundación IFF Panamá) es una organización sin fines de lucro creada para apoyar la realización del Festival Internacional de Cine de Panamá e impulsar las actividades culturales y educativas que forman parte integral del evento. El Festival es patrocinado principalmente por el Ministerio de Comercio e Industrias (MICI) y la Dirección General de Cine (DICINE), la Autoridad de Turismo de Panamá (ATP), Ministerio de Ambiente de Panamá (MiAmbiente), así como otros generosos promotores.

La séptima edición de IFF Panamá será del 5 al 11 de abril de 2018.
