MEXICAN CINEMATOGRAPHY INSTITUTE ANNOUNCES SCHOLARSHIPS FOR PANAMANIAN AND REGION FILMMAKERS

In the round table on grants for documentary films held at the International Film Festival of Panama, Yissel Ibarra, in charge of Projects of the Mexican Institute of Cinematography (IMCINE), announced that on Monday, April 3rd opens the call for the Gabriel García Márquez scholarship, for indigenous or Afro-descendant filmmakers from Mexico and Central America. Also participating in the activity were Isabel Arrate, manager of the IFDA Bertha Fund and José Rodríguez, Director of the Department of Documentary Programs at TFI.
